2012 Corvette ZR1 (The King Is Here)

Okay? Am I a lucky man or what? How many people do you know of can say that they've driven TWO ZR1s in their life time? I'll give you time to think.

Thanks to a mutual friend (Who's name should NOT be spoken, or it may result to him getting his ass fired!) I got the chance to test drive this beautiful 2012 Chevorlet Corvette ZR1. Unlike the red one my Grand dad owns, (The 09' Model), this one came with the Pirelli Racing Slick tires, which shaved this bad boys Nurburgring laptime from (7:26.04) to a crazy (7:19.63)!

Besides that minor upgrade including the interior changes, (which is not much of a change, and pretty poor and dated compared to other cars for the money.), everything is pretty much the same. Same supercharged 6.2 Liter 638HP LS9, same carbon fiber materials, same breaks used on the Enzo. Same everything.

This thing was being sold for $120,928. Alot yes, but you get alot of car for the money as well. As the C6 is on its death bed, seeing the last days of its life, it's good to see the C6 still kicking HARD. The 2012 ZR1 and Z07 Z06 are both welcomed and fitting finallys of the 6th generation Corvette. With the C7 already going way.

I wish I would of won that $640 Million lottery, so I can say that I actually own this car. But a simple test drive is more than enough for a mear mortal like myself. So I ain't complaining. Just had to share this story, considering it only happens once every Blue Moon. Or "Luna" Moon.
